MELTEM MANAV, LL.M.
Meltem Manav graduated from Istanbul Saint-Joseph French High School and enrolled at the Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2013. During her undergraduate studies, she attended international law seminars at the Faculty of Law at the University of Geneva as part of the Erasmus Exchange Program. Manav received an institutional scholarship to pursue her master’s degree in International Economic Law and Policies Master’s Program (IELPO) at the University of Barcelona in 2016, where she wrote her thesis on the implications of Competition Law on patent rights.
She completed her legal internship at Dr. Levent Bıçakçı Law Office and continued to practice law after earning her license in 2014. She continued her career at Özay Law Firm, as the department head for intellectual property law after earning her master’s degree. Manav provides legal consultancy services to national and global clients, specializing in Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, Commercial Law, Rental Law, Company Law, Customs Law, and IT Law. She also worked on projects such as company establishment and commercial business transfers in the software, corporate consultancy, and e-commerce sectors. She also conducted projects, mainly in competition law and personal data protection laws. Meltem Manav assists clients in both litigation and consultancy regarding commercial disputes. In addition to these fields, she helps companies with domestic and foreign capital with contract negotiations and project management.
She is fluent in English, and French and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
