YEŞİM KUMOVA MAĞAT, LL.M.

Atty. Yeşim Kumova Mağat completed her undergraduate studies at Koç University Faculty of Law in 2013, after graduating from Notre Dame de Sion French High School. During her legal internship, she completed her master’s degree in Economic Law at Galatasaray University with her graduation project on arbitration. Yeşim Kumova also actively engaged in the field of arbitration during her studies by taking part in mock arbitration hearings and conferences.

Kumova started her career at Cerrahoğlu Law Firm as a legal intern. During her work at Cerrahoğlu, she began working in the corporate law department, where she provided a variety of consultancy services to clients, and then transferred to the litigation department, where she worked extensively on the clients’ litigation proceedings. Afterward, Yeşim Kumova worked at Özay Law Firm for approximately 5 years as the department head and specialized in Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, Contracts Law, Corporate Law, Concordat Law, and Labor Law. Kumova has pursued numerous lawsuits and been involved in a variety of projects, notably notifying mergers and acquisitions of the Competition Authority and representing undertakings in Competition Authority investigations. She offers consultancy services to businesses with a national and worldwide reputation in several industries, particularly those related to the industry, food, software, and advertising sectors. Kumova has worked on numerous court cases and enforcement actions provided legal assistance during corporate concordat entry and exit procedures and offered consultancy services in various fields. Kumova also assists clients with labor law issues in their human resource processes.

She is fluent in English and French.
